truth teller

from as early as i can remember i felt really at home in the world of art, imagination and creativity — while my friends played with dolls, i redesigned the doll house — so it was only a matter of time before i fell in love with the art form of photography. 

while working in china as a teacher, i started learning how to use a manual camera so i could document my travels and life over there. very quickly, i was spending most of my free time editing photographs - capturing the beauty around me and taking my camera everywhere i went. 

i spent the next few years travelling around the globe with my partner of 13 years, konrad. each place we explored we took photos, and without knowing it we had began to document some of our most treasured times together. i always find it funny how in the moment life always feels so ‘normal’ — it’s not until you look back and reflect that you realise just how special and important those moments truly were. 

that is what motivates me to capture life’s most precious moments for others, and why i am truly in awe of photography. i love working with humans from all over the world, and consider it a privilege to capture and preserve moments and stories in a thoughtful, honest, and creative way.
