Leopard Trails, Sri Lanka
Located in Yala National Park, Sri Lanka - Leopard Trails is a Bespoke Tented Safari experience that captures all the romance & adventure of the original safari. It was a really exciting experience to be a part of, we saw such a diverse range of wildlife, caught a stunning sunset & welcomed the evening with a bonfire & wine. Our meals were traditional & delicious, our tents were comfortable & luxurious & I think we absolutely made the most of our 24 hours with Leopard Trails.
I also really enjoyed being a part of this safari experience because Leopard Trails actively supports the environment & local community. The campsite staff & drivers being from the local community, the delicious food is sourced from local suppliers, & where possible the equipment is also manufactured & maintained locally. They use reusable stainless steel thermos flasks reducing their dependency on plastics & engage in other sustainable practices. Leopard Trails aims to minimise their impact on the environment & show-case a true wilderness experience & prioritise above all else, the protection of nature.
Over the 24 hours we shared with Leopard Trails we enjoyed breakfast, lunch, dinner & drinks by the bonfire, a night stay in the camp, 2 safari trips (one early morning & one afternoon) & spotted some incredible wildlife. Enjoy this snapshot into our time with Leopard Trails.
Leopard Safari is always the first in line to enter the National Park, it is an early start - leaving at 5am,
however that's all part of the adventure & don't worry you get coffee!
Let's go & see what we can find...
An incredible sunset to follow an incredible day!
