The Walrus, London

The Walrus is best summed up by Lonely Planet, as a “little hostel (that) gets top marks for trying so hard (and succeeding!) at creating a welcoming, individual, friendly and cosy hostel in the big smoke. The corridors and stairs are on the shabby side but the dorms (sleeping from four to 22) and bathrooms are spick and span. The downside is the noise from the street and railway, but at this price…The vintage kitchen is fun, as is the tip-top shabby-chic pub downstairs, which is just as popular with locals as it is with hostel residents (who get 15% off all drinks). Breakfast, linen and towels are all included in the price. The Walrus Hostel is the ideal choice for you to get the most out of your trip to London. We aim to welcome you, assist you and keep you safe so you can enjoy all the marvels of this historic city. Our hostel features: Free Wi-Fi, simple free breakfast of cereals, toast, teas and coffee free bag storage on early arrival, guest kitchen.
The Walrus is within walking distance of all of Londons most famous landmarks and after a long day of sight seeing you can come and enjoy a drink in our traditional English pub where we serve a fine selection of beers, wines and spirits.” Take a look at this sample of shots from our stay with The Walrus, I think you’ll find that the Lonely Planet description really couldn’t be more true!
